About AI Operators

The show for people doing the work.

AI Operators is an Australian weekly live show for business owners, operators and technical leaders who are implementing AI in real organisations.

What AI Operators is for

The show examines the practical work behind AI adoption: agentic workflows, knowledge systems, architecture, integration, governance, costs and the decisions that determine whether a pilot becomes a reliable operating capability. We focus on what people have built, where the constraints appeared and what changed after the first demo.

Episodes are conversations, not product documentation or investment advice. Guests and hosts may describe their own experiences, tools and opinions. Where a discussion makes a factual claim, use the cited primary source or a current official source before treating it as settled guidance.

Who runs the show

AI Operators is operated by Valid Agenda Pty Ltd from Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Dave Pengelley, Richard Webbe, Matt Slager and Marno Brits host the weekly panel, with operators, founders and specialists joining when their experience can add practical signal for the audience.

The show is a media and community project. It is not a software vendor, a managed service desk or a substitute for legal, financial, security or implementation advice tailored to a particular organisation.

How to use the material

Start with the episode archive when you need a particular topic, then open the relevant episode page for its show notes, chapters, resources and transcript. Attribute opinions to the named speaker and episode. Transcripts are conversational records and can contain corrections, shorthand and incomplete context, so they should not be treated as a standalone source for high-stakes claims.

AI Operators also publishes IRL event recaps, individual talk pages and guest profiles. These pages are intended to help people find a specific conversation without treating an appearance as an endorsement of a product, company or position.
