ChatGPT Dots can be your YouTube producer and editor

Field note

Dave introduces Hamilton, his OpenAI dot, and shows an animated website hero video made with Remotion. The first version needed another pass; feedback, a stronger visual reference and the original app components helped produce the version Dave put on the site.

He then asks Hamilton to edit this Field Note from phone recordings, kangaroo B-roll and AI Operators bumpers. It is a demo inside the video itself, with the human still directing and reviewing the result.

What this covers

• Giving an AI assistant tools to make things, not just answer questions.
• Improving a first cut through concrete feedback and references.
• Assembling supplied footage and brand assets into a finished video.
